I am a Board Certified pediatric dentist. I graduated from Marquette University with my doctorate in dental science and completed a pediatric dental residency at Baylor College of Dentistry (now part of Texas A&M University). I have been practicing dentistry for over 20 years. I truly enjoy working with children and helping them to achieve dental stability and health. My practice philosophy is to treat every child as if they were my own. My goal is to provide the best possible care to the children and special needs patients in the Manitowoc area.
My wife and three boys keep me very busy. I enjoy spending free time with my boys, on the water and in the woods. I grew up near here on a dairy farm and have family in much of the surrounding area. After spending many years on the road for school and with the military, it is time to grow our family’s roots and stay for a while. The Rau family has made Denmark, Wisconsin, our home.
I like any animated movie I can watch with my family.

After spending most of my career in sales, I have been with Young Smiles since the first day we opened in 2014. When I’m not working, you will probably find me with my family watching a silly movie or preparing and eating yummy food. I have a smart, beautiful wife, three amazing children (a son and two daughters) and a French bulldog named Clancy. In my youth, I won a break-dancing contest, and even though I am old, I can still do the worm. My greatest desire in life is to be known as a fun grandpa with a very comfortable lap. If I ever retire, I want to spend my time rocking babies to sleep.
